Project Soarer

After doing doing so much research he came up with a theme for it, the project “SOARER” which came out very well. He knew all along what he wanted, was to have a nice rear offset with a deep lip. The only wheel he pretty much saw that no one was using on the forums that was still quite new were the XXR 526s. Everyone had Works, Ray’s, BBS, but not to be like others he wanted to be different from the pack. He even added a carbon fiber roof wing and a Big Win replica front lip. After that something still seemed to be different and he already knew exactly what it was, the eyes of this beauty. There wasn’t an aftermarket area for JDM black housing headlights for this car so he ordered up a pair of black housing halo projectors. Got those installed and off to the body shop it went. After about a week it came out with a blacked out roof and smoked fogs to match the headlights.

Like every other modifier problems were on the table, but is was not something thats it was going to stop the building of the soarer. With the car,chris5 was the tires eating through the wiring harness due to the harness being placed under the fender well from factory, and used tires constantly blowing out on the highway until he decided to buy the  XXRs with new tires. Then it was a problem on the streets, the soarer was definitely out there to prove a point.

Future plans are up in the air at this moment due to him testing waters on offers for it. He’s currently looking into a 98-04 GS300 or 01-05 IS300, but if he does keep it, the next upgrades will be a big brake kit from Wilwood and either a 2JZGTE or 1JZGTE that will later on become single turbo.
